Angela Marino is a full time working mom who has lived in Will and Grundy county for over 25 years. She graduated in 1989 from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a major in Business Administration. She has worked in sales and purchasing ever since. While her jobs have been fulfilling, Angelas has a deep desire to do more to help others in her community.

Her husband has been a teacher at Minooka Community High School since 1997 and they were blessed with three beautiful children. Tragically, their 19 year old daughter passed away in December 2022. Their family, friends and the community have been remarkable in supporting their family. This has fueled Angela’s desire to give back and do what she can to provide support to others.

Getting counseling after their daughter’s death has been a tremendous help for their whole family in dealing with the grief of their loss. Her family has been fortunate to have insurance that provides for this counseling but she knows not everyone has that opportunity. Angela wants to help encourage others to seek out help and ensure that anyone who wants help has access to it. That is why she was so drawn to the Mental Health Matters Fund and is committed and honored to helping it grow and serve the community.
